When ads are running

Why do I have to wait 48 hours before my ads are ready?

Creating the ads, unfortunately, does not ensure that your ads are up and running immediately. There is an immense amount of data that needs to be loaded to AdWords and Facebook Ad account (imagine loading all images of your products, their descriptions etc). Plus, both platforms need to check every single ad and only then it is approved.

Why my ads have no impressions?

There can be several reasons why your ads are not running. First, make sure that you have updated your payment info in Google Ads and Facebook Ad account for billing purposes so they can send you a bill for the displayed ads. An account without sufficient balance cannot be served.
Secondly, if you have a smaller store it is possible that you do not have enough unique visitors for the that to start running. You can read about it in more detail here.
If you are unsure what to check or think that something else might be wrong, always contact us!

Do my ads show to the people who already purchased my products?

No. Once your visitor turns to a customer they are excluded from the remarketing list and therefore will not be targeted anymore.

Why cannot I see any conversions?

Every store is unique with different products, prices and visitors. Sometimes, the visitor might click on the ad and make a purchase immediately. Sometimes, they just need more time for decisions. We always recommend to be patient. If you are uncertain whether the app measures conversions, always ask us.

What do I pay for with ads?

On Google, you pay for ad clicks. This means you pay every time somebody clicks on some of your ads. Facebook policies are a little bit different. Facebook doesn’t let starting advertisers pay for clicks; this cost calculation variant is available only for certain marketing objectives. To avoid any issues, the cost of Facebook ads is calculated per impression.

Why do I need 100 unique visitors, and what does it mean?

Don’t worry; everything is OK. Google Ads needs some time to collect the information on your unique visitors for its remarketing list. Your ads will start running automatically when there are enough unique visitors. For more information, check our blog post.

Why does the number of unique visitors keep restarting to 0?

After you connect your Google Ads account, the information on the unique visitors to your website is collected in your remarketing lists. Each of these unique visitors stays in your remarketing list only for seven days because the ads are shown to people only for seven days after they visited your website. Therefore, the number of people in your remarketing lists keeps changing. If you wish to change the membership period, don’t hesitate to contact us; we’ll be happy to help you.
