When ads are running

Why do I have to wait 48 hours before my ads are ready?

When you create the ads, they are not automatically approved and ready to go - they need to be sent to Google/Facebook for a review. This process can take up from a few hours up to 2 days but usually no longer than that. If it's taking too long, we recommend reaching out to Google or Facebook support to check what's wrong.

Why my ads have no impressions?

There can be several reasons why your ads are not running. First, make sure that you have updated your payment info in Google Ads and Facebook Ad account for billing purposes so they can send you a bill for the displayed ads. An account without sufficient balance cannot be served. Secondly, if you have a smaller store it is possible that you do not have enough unique visitors. You can read about it in more detail here.  If you are unsure what to check or think that something else might be wrong, always contact us!

Do my ads show to the people who already purchased my products?

No. Once your client makes a purchase, he's automatically excluded from the remarketing list for a several days so the ads are being shown only to relevant people.

Why cannot I see any conversions?

Every store is unique with different products, prices and visitors. Sometimes, the visitor might click on the ad and make a purchase immediately. Sometimes, they just need more time for decisions. We always recommend to be patient. If you are uncertain whether the app measures conversions, always ask us. The second thing might be that while the ads work (people are visiting your page), they don't want to buy your products for some reason. This might because, for example, they don't find your landing page as attractive as it could be. Try working on that, maybe, it'll help. Also, checking up prices and appearance of the web of your competitors is always a good idea. If you're interested, you can try reading our amazing article on this page.

What do I pay for with ads?

It depends on the ads - in case you're running Google campaign, you pay for clicks, on Facebook for impressions. The average price for click on Google can change a lot, depending on the country you decide to target. The average cost per click on Facebook in our app is counted from the number of impressions the ads generated divided by the actual clicks. It's not unusual to have an average cost per click on Facebook over 1 USD.

Why does the number of unique visitors keep restarting to 0?

After you connect your Google Ads account, the information on the unique visitors to your website is collected in your remarketing lists. Each of these unique visitors stays in your remarketing list only for seven days because the ads are shown to people only for seven days after they visited your website. Therefore, the number of people in your remarketing lists keeps changing. If you wish to change the membership period, don’t hesitate to contact us; we’ll be happy to help you.
